Give joy to seniors on St. Nicholas Day – support the campaign "Not Yet".

December 6 is a special day – St. Nicholas Day, which is associated with giving, joy, and closeness. It's a moment to think about those who often spend this time in solitude – our seniors. Many of them struggle with isolation, social exclusion, and a lack of support from family and loved ones.
The data is alarming: in Poland, over 27% of people over 75 years old live alone, and this percentage increases every year. Loneliness is not just the absence of companionship but also a deteriorating state of mental and physical health. Depression, withdrawal from social life, and a lack of motivation for daily activities are the reality for many seniors.
The Polish Red Cross has been helping the elderly for years, creating spaces where they can find joy in life, support, and a sense of belonging. Our Senior Clubs are places where elderly people participate in physical activities, artistic workshops, intergenerational meetings, or educational classes. As a result, they gain not only new skills but, above all, establish relationships and regain faith in their abilities.

The campaign “Not yet” – Your help matters
As part of the campaign “I am still here,” we want to reach as many seniors as possible, offering them a place where they feel needed and appreciated. With the support of donors and the involvement of volunteers, we can run Senior Clubs all over Poland and expand this activity in new locations.
Your help is the key to the success of our mission. Together, we can provide seniors with warmth, closeness, and the opportunity to develop their passions.
