What we do

Thanks to your support, the Polish Red Cross helps children, seniors, supports medical rescuers, promotes the idea of blood donation, and carries out humanitarian actions that save human lives in times of armed conflicts or natural disasters.

Responding in a crisis

The ambition of Strategy 2030 in this pillar is to implement humanitarian education and raise readiness to act in crisis situations within Polish society, as well as to increase the capabilities of the Polish Red Cross for rapid response and large-scale assistance.

We provide help to victims in situations of natural disasters and catastrophes occurring around the world. We organize educational campaigns related to preparing society for appropriate behaviors in crisis situations and search for missing persons.

Help and Activation

We work for the most needy, the poor, the sick, and the disabled. We conduct training in vocational activation for people at risk of social exclusion. As part of the "Dignified Childhood" program, we provide meals for children and ensure comprehensive care, allowing them an equal start in adulthood.

Clothing collection

The collection of clothes, which the Polish Red Cross conducts throughout the year in specially marked containers, is a support for those in need, but also gives a second life to clothes that can still be of use to someone.
