Family holiday of blood donors in Łopatki Polskie

On June 14, we celebrated World Blood Donor Day, thanking everyone who saves lives by donating blood. On this occasion, a family festival was held on Saturday at the Village Community Center in Łopatki Polskie (Szczuplinki Commune) with the participation of blood donors from the Wąbrzeźno County and representatives of the PCK Delegation in Wąbrzeźno.

The event was attended by representatives of the municipal authorities of the City of Wąbrzeźno, the Ryńsk Commune, the Książki Commune, and Deputy Starost Gizela Pijar, who on behalf of the County authorities thanked all blood donors for their selfless help and engagement in actions for the local community.

The meeting was of an integrative character – blood donors along with their families and loved ones spent time in a friendly atmosphere, enjoying numerous attractions, refreshments, and activities for children.

This exceptional event was an opportunity to strengthen bonds within the community of voluntary blood donors and to emphasize the importance of this idea in social life. The adult and youth teams of the Volunteer Fire Department from Sitno and Myśliwiec helped organize the event and conducted many interesting competitions as well as demonstrated firefighting equipment.
