Rescue Groups

The groups carry out comprehensive rescue operations, providing assistance in situations of disasters and natural calamities. It is a team of trained rescuers working in collaboration with emergency services to effectively save lives in challenging conditions.

PCK Rescue Groups

These are specialized rescue units of the Polish Red Cross, operating throughout the country. The PCK Rescue System consists of 19 Rescue Groups, which are prepared to act in difficult conditions, both in terms of the terrain and the weather. Rescuers from these groups have appropriate protective equipment and professional gear, allowing them to respond effectively in crisis situations.

These units operate under common standards, ensuring a uniform level of training and effectiveness.

Their main goal is to provide assistance during disasters, natural calamities, or accidents, but also to organize rescue operations over a longer period of time. The PCK Rescue Groups are a key element of the civil protection system in Poland.
