The SIM PCK groups are a space for young leaders who want to engage socially and develop their skills. Join us and create educational projects and initiatives that change local communities!

Description

The Groups of Youth Social Instructors of the Polish Red Cross (Grupy SIM PCK) are teams of young leaders operating at the regional and district branches of the Polish Red Cross. Their goal is to actively support the activities of the Polish Red Cross, educate local communities, and develop volunteer projects in areas such as healthy lifestyles, safety, and first aid.

The SIM PCK groups provide a space for young people who want to develop their organizational and leadership skills. Currently, there are 27 such groups in Poland, which share common values but differ in the individual potential of their members. The SIM PCK groups are a unique environment where youth develop both socially and individually.

The goal and tasks

The aim of the SIM PCK Groups is to prepare a cadre of instructor-leaders and youth activity animators who support PCK units in their activities. The tasks of the SIM PCK Groups include, among others:

Promoting volunteer work in the local community.

Education in first aid and organization of training sessions.

Care for the School PCK Circles and PCK Squirrel Clubs.

Organization of educational projects related to a healthy lifestyle, hygiene, safety, and other important social issues.

Cooperation with other PCK units and youth organizations.

Implementation of activities supporting the statutory goals of the Polish Red Cross (PCK).

How to join the group?

People aged 13–30 can apply to the SIM PCK Group at their local branch of the Polish Red Cross. To join, you need to:

Contact the nearest PCK branch where SIM Groups operate.
Check which groups are available and their areas of activity.
Register in the Online Volunteer Management System of the PCK, which will provide access to training and formal confirmation of membership in the organization.

How to create a Group?

If there is no SIM Group in your PCK branch, you can start one! Here are the steps:

Contact the nearest PCK branch and discuss the possibilities of establishing a SIM Group.
Find at least 10 people who want to become members of the PCK SIM Group.
Submit an application to the PCK Regional Board for the establishment of the group.
Work with a PCK employee on planning activities and organizing the group.
Inform the PCK District Youth Council about the creation of the group and keep its documentation in accordance with the organization’s requirements.

Rescue Groups

The groups carry out comprehensive rescue operations, providing assistance in disaster and natural disaster situations. It is a team of trained rescuers working with emergency services to effectively save human lives in difficult conditions.
