Humanitarian Aid Groups

Groups support those affected by disasters by providing shelter, material aid, and psychosocial support. Become part of the team that brings help in the most difficult moments!

Humanitarian Aid Group Activities

The Humanitarian Aid Groups of the Polish Red Cross (GPH) are specialized units of the Polish Red Cross that focus on providing humanitarian assistance in crisis situations. Their task is to mitigate the effects of natural disasters, calamities, technical failures, or transportation accidents.

GPH organizes temporary shelters, distributes food and basic supplies, and also offers psychosocial support to those affected. These units operate in accordance with the principles of humanitarianism, impartiality, and neutrality, being an integral part of the social assistance system in Poland. The Humanitarian Aid Groups operate in safe zones, where they support other rescue services and communities affected by crises.
