As a result of the tragic fire that broke out in the tenement house at Kraszewskiego Street in Poznań, rescuers from the Polish Red Cross immediately began to take action.
From the first moments of the disaster, they were on site, supporting the actions of the fire brigade and emergency services. As part of their assistance, the Polish Red Cross Greater Poland organized a support point where the injured and rescue services receive meals, hot drinks, and psychological support.
"With the help of local companies that donated essential products, we were able to quickly respond to the needs of the victims. The Poznań community showed its solidarity in the face of this tragedy," said Krzysztof Frąckowiak, leader of the Humanitarian Aid Group of the Polish Red Cross in Poznań. Volunteers are working tirelessly to provide support to all those in need. The aid point will remain open as long as necessary, until all rescue and cleanup operations are completed.
Support the Polish Red Cross action and help rebuild what has been destroyed.
