In Poland, every day thousands of older people live in difficult conditions. Extreme poverty affects 5.7% of seniors over 65 years of age, and as many as 43.4% of them feel isolated from society. Seniors should not be alone or abandoned – their everyday life should be full of support, kindness, and dignity. That is why on November 14, on International Senior Day, the Polish Red Cross begins a nationwide campaign "Not Yet," which highlights the needs of older people, raises social awareness, and encourages action.
Every number in these statistics is a person – a grandfather, grandmother, neighbor, who silently struggles with the challenges that old age brings. Changing times and technological progress are something natural for the younger generation, but for seniors it is often another barrier that isolates them.
Help create space for seniors!
The PCK Senior Clubs are a place where every senior can feel needed, appreciated, and understood. There are already 28 Senior Clubs operating across Poland, but the needs are enormous – for many older individuals, it is the only space where they can find joy and community. With your help, we can create more such places, providing seniors with access to activities that help them take care of their health and physical activity. Gymnastics exercises, Nordic walking, artistic workshops, and computer classes are just some of the activities that can change their everyday lives.
PCK Senior Clubs are not just meetings with peers. We also introduce intergenerational programs that connect the young and the old. Seniors share their experiences, knowledge, and passions with the younger generation. Such relationships help them better navigate the rapidly changing world, while younger generations learn empathy and understanding.

Why do we need your support?
The "Not Yet" campaign is an effort to provide seniors with a dignified life. Together, we can counteract their isolation, support them in their daily struggles with loneliness and poverty, and build intergenerational bridges that will strengthen our society.
Your support will allow us to continue this mission. Every zloty matters. Do not let our seniors feel forgotten.
